The Staff

Marco Carlone, Lorenzo Pallotta and Francesco Storai are main authors and editors in chief of the magazine. The newsroom is composed by Stefano Paolini, Riccardo Vitali and Enrico Bavestrello.

  Marco Carlone was born in 1989 in Torino, Piemonte. He graduated in International Sciences with a dissertation about the international railway line Cuneo - Nizza. Nowadays he is continuing its studies in Public and political comunication in Torino's University. His first pictures come from late '90s, when he was only a kid. He collaborated for many years with Tutto Treno magazine and other online editorial projects. Even if his originary passion is photography, he doesn't turn his nose up at videocameras. He takes pictures with a nikon camera. In the last years, he began to discover international rails after a long ''only Italian'' period. Today he is an active member on several European train forums and websites.

  Lorenzo Pallotta was born in 1976 in Rome and works as a web designer.
He is very expert about trains and railways and in the past years has collected many trips around the world. He also collaborated for many years with all Italian magazines and even today for foreign magazines like Today's Railways, Op de Rails, Rail Magazine, Schienenverkehr aktuell, Railway Photography, Schweizer Eisenbahn-Revue, Eisenbahn Österreich, Eisenbahn-Revue International, Railway update, Indóház and Świat Kolei. He has published his shots on many Italian and foreign books and he is also the webmaster of well known railway portal Ferrovie.Info. Lorenzo Pallotta uses Canon cameras and lenses.

  Francesco Storai was born in 1989 in Pescia, Tuscany. After a scientific degree, he has got a bachelor degree in political sciences, presenting a thesis about the history and the future perspectives of Ferrovia Porrettana Pistoia – Bologna. Now he live in Monsummano Terme, not far from Firenze, and he works as journalist in local newspapers and as press agent of some local corporations. He has always been enthusiast about trains and railways since he was a kid, developing by the years an ample collection of rail books from Italy and Europe. During last years he collaborated with Italian railway's magazine Tutto Treno and La Tecnica Professionale. He has done many trips all around Europe, especially in Balkans country. He prefers naturalistic photography, especially clouds and thunderstorms, together with portraits and sport pictures. Storai uses Nikon cameras together with Tamron and Nikon lenses.
